We are an independently run allotment in the Grange Park area of Blackpool. With more than 75 plots available to Blackpool residents, a variety of vegetables and flowers are grown and we hold a number of social events through outthe year.
SOS, we need a work party on FRIDAY this week 6th March to unload a pallet of compost into the shop container. Around 11am / 11~ 30 am. Potters Rest will be open for TEA or COFFEE. SEE YOU THERE.
THE FIRST SOCIETY MEETING IS MONDAY 16th MARCH 2020. PLEASE TRY TO ATTEND. ITS HELD AT THE NO. 4 PUB, NEWTON DRIVE. START TIME IS 8pm, YES 8pm. Hot pot and chips will be served.
The plot holders on David's slack allotment site held a surprise 90th birthday party for Alan Speakman who is 90 years young today. Alan has had a plot on David's slack Allotments for 61 years, and still cultivates his own plot growing Amazing vegetables. Sues curiosity cafe did a beautiful buffet for the occasion, Ladies from the Palatine Rotary club served tea and coffee. Julia Zakrzewski made Alan's cake, Jackie Jackson gave Alan lovely flowers for his wife, and Mike Danson gave Alan his favourite sweets. ' Werneth's Caramels '. The story behind this is Alan always has a pocket full when he's on his plot, and shares them with who ever he passes the time of day with, In all it was a wonderful afternoon.

Layton Produce Show
On Saturday 1st September 2018 Layton allotment site held its annual fruit, veg, and produce show. The was quite a few exhibits from David's slack allotment site, in various categories. We has some great results, including. Denise Carlisle, Jacky Jackson, Val Woodcock and Terry Harrison. Well done and thank you to every one who took part.
